Ranveer was inspired to become a cook by what he saw kebab vendors doing. When Brar was seventeen years old, he met kebab Ustad Munir Ahmed, and that is when Ahmed took him under his wing. Brar used to frequent the neighbourhood kebab vendors in Lucknow during his boyhood. He came to see that his actual calling is in the culinary arts.
However, Ranveer’s family preferred that he pursue a profession in engineering, medicine, or the armed forces. Even though he passed the NDA exam, his passion for cooking grew every day. After all, he managed to persuade his parents, and he enrolled in IIHM, Lucknow.

Early Life and Childhood
Ranveer is from a farming Jatt Sikh family. Ishwar Singh, his father, was employed with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.
Ranveer Brar got his start in cooking at a young age, coming from a family with strong culinary traditions.
