Locobuzz - Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

Overview

This page explains how to revoke Locobuzz’s access to your Facebook account and how to request deletion of any Facebook-related data processed by Locobuzz. These instructions apply when Facebook (Pages/Instagram via Facebook, or login) was connected to Locobuzz for publishing, engagement, customer care, or social listening and analytics.

1. Revoke Locobuzz in Facebook (stops new data flow)

  1. Open Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings.
  2. Go to Business Integrations (for Pages/Instagram) or Apps and Websites (for personal login).
  3. Find Locobuzz and select Remove. If shown, tick the option to delete content the app may have posted on your behalf.
  4. After removal, no new data will be shared with Locobuzz from Facebook.

Note: Revoking access in Facebook does not automatically delete data already stored inside Locobuzz. See Step 2 to request deletion of Locobuzz-side data.

2. Request Locobuzz to delete stored data

To delete Locobuzz-side data connected to your Facebook integration, contact our Privacy Team. We will verify your identity and remove data as described below, subject to legal and platform obligations.

What Locobuzz deletes (upon verified request)

  • Integration artifacts: access tokens, connection metadata, linked Page/IG identifiers.
  • Account/profile data for your workspace user(s) specific to the Facebook integration.
  • Engagement & care records: tickets, message copies, moderation queues, internal notes, dispositions.
  • Publishing artifacts: drafts, scheduled posts, and Locobuzz-side publishing logs.
  • Listening indexes: stored mentions, cached media, and enrichments (e.g., sentiment, labels) tied to your workspace.
  • Analytics aggregates: metrics and rollups derived from your Facebook data.
  • AI outputs: summaries, response suggestions, classifications generated from your Facebook data.
  • Exports & reports: downloadable files and scheduled report definitions created from the data.

Deletion is prioritized from live systems and processing queues first; full purge from backups occurs on their normal lifecycle.

What Locobuzz deletes (upon verified request)

  • Original content on Facebook/Instagram remains on the source platforms and must be removed using Facebook’s tools or by the original poster/admin.
  • Third‑party re‑shares or caches (outside Locobuzz) cannot be deleted by Locobuzz.
  • Legal retention may require minimal records to be kept to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.

Information to include in your deletion request

  • Registered email address and workspace/account URL (e.g., https://app.locobuzz.com/<workspace>).
  • Facebook profile/Page/Business Manager link(s) that were connected and approximate connection date.
  • Any specific items to remove (e.g., report files, scheduled posts, mention IDs, ticket IDs).

Timelines & compliance

We acknowledge requests within 72 hours and complete deletion as soon as practicable, typically within 30 days. Processing is governed by applicable laws (including the DPDP Act (India) and GDPR, where applicable) and Meta platform terms.
